In addition to the matte black finish covering every inch of the pen, including the section, the nib and metal accents are black nickel chrome plated. The Sailor Professional Gear Imperial Combining a sleek matte black finish with the Pro Gear flat-top design and smoky ruthenium trim, this is one of the most distinctive and attractive pens that Sailor has yet produced. Even the nib on this pen has a sleek black iodized-plated nib.
