Description:
The Model 3616E is a high speed, plus 155°C elevated DIP (Dual Inline Package) handler with plus or minus one degree Celsisus temperature control accuracy. It uses advanced microprocessor design to control machine accuracy and speed together with sort verification, self diagnostics and status indicators.
The 3616E handlers can test up to 9500 devices per hour (DPH) at 150 msec test time with 300 mil devices. This speed results from microprocessor control, a system of appropriately spaced optics, gravity feed, and forced air assist.
A sort verification system on the 3616E compares the actual output reservoir selected with the original category signal selection command from the tester. A mis-sort is identified by the position of the sort shuttle over the output reservoir just fed and an LED light above the reservoir that should have been fed. Sort verification is reset by depressing the sort parity reset button on the control panel.
Status indicators on the operator's panel and on the input and output tracks alert operators to machine delays and the reasons for those delays.
The 3616E models are capable of performing self-diagnostics tests on the input diaply; input optics; address communications; parity display; status indicators and most fo the other systems in the handler.
