NOTE:  I trimmed the receiver collar to fit my dog's neck.  It is approximately 17 inches long so should fit your dog comfortably with a 5 1/4 inch neck.  The collar part of the receiver is easily replaceable with a longer collar if you need it.
About 100 blue marking flags
.  (they came in a pack of 100 and I think I have gathered up all of them!)  These are larger than the small white flags that come with the unit and there are a lot more of them so you can mark the boundary of your area in a manner that will stand out for your dog.
20 Gauge boundary wire
:  Approximately 800 feet of 20 gauge perimeter wire consisting of most of the original spool of wire + most of a second spool of 20 gauge wire that I purchased.  This is in 3 separate runs, the longest being about 400 feet.  When spliced together, this amount of wire would approximately enclose an acre or so.
