Features:
The Data I/O ProMaster 2500 is a fully integrated, fully automated system for programming, testing, sorting and labeling programmable devices.
Controlled by Data I/O’s TaskLink Production Automation Software for easy-to-use PC-based control.
Complete turn-key solution that improves the productivity, quality, and flexibility of your production process.
Universal support for dices in both DIP and surface-mount technology (SMT) packages up to 84 pins, allows the ProMaster 2500 to program, label and sort as many as 500 devices per hour.
State-of-the-art pick-and-place handling technology minimizes damage to delicate surface-mount devices for safe, high-yield SMT production.
Automated tube-to-tube processing also eliminates human error and device damage, and minimizes electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage caused by human handling.
Description:
From input to output, the ProMaster 2500 is designed for flexibility. The pick-and-place head rotates devices, so programming and labeling proceed without interruption regardless of device orientation in the tubes. A high-density, thermal printer quickly prints and applies device labels, available in a wide variety of materials and sizes, in one swift and precise operation. Tube holders – one at the input and two at the output – accept any standard programmable integrated circuit (IC) tube without adjustments, and automatically center the tubes. Quick and easy changeovers dramatically reduce downtime and also enhance flexibility or just-in-time manufacturing. The ProMaster 2500 is controlled by Data I/O’s PC-based TaskLink software, providing easy setup and process control for your production operations. With TaskLink, programmer parameters, data sources, programming processes and other essential settings can be saved as “Tasks”. Multiple tasks can be linked together in “Kits”, this creating an error-free means of sequentially programming numerous projects consisting of varying quantities of devices. In addition, TaskLink lets you create and set labeling parameters. Plus, it automates device sterilization and simplifies the viewing and editing of data files. The result is a complete turnkey solution that improves the productivity, quality, and flexibility of your production process. To ensure the highest quality programming results, the ProMaster 2500’s advanced programming electronics are specially designed to minimize the distance between the pin drivers and the devices being programmed. Manufacturer-approved algorithms are also used for optimal reliability and yields. As a result, the ProMaster 2500 can accurately and reliably support today’s high-speed devices with fast edge rates. The ProMaster 2500’s easy-to-use interface makes system operation simple and efficient. In System Administrator Mode, you can easily capture the system setups needed to program each part number in your inventory. In Operator Mode, the preconfigured setups can then be selected for fast, automatic, and error-free setup and operation. System operation is enhance be sophisticated statistical analysis capabilities. The ProMaster 2500 automatically tracks the number of devices programmed in a session, and then displays detailed statistics of the session to help you analyze trends and maximize the quality of your production operations. Throughout the entire handling, programming, and labeling process, optical sensors continuously monitor devices to ensure optimal reliability. Extensive diagnostic self-tests also assure system integrity and help maximize system performance and up-time.
Fast Changeovers for Minimal Downtime:
Changeovers from one package style to another can be done is less than two minutes – no tools or special skills required
Software setups for each programmed part you have can be instantly recalled to automatically load programming data, device type, label data, and all processing parameters.
Universal tube holders automatically adjust to any size of tube inserted.
Quality Programming and Handling:
Pick-and-place device transport protects SMT and other devices against physical damage.
Fully grounded device-contact surfaces guard against ESD damage.
The algorithms are approved by most major semiconductor manufacturers to ensure highest device programming yields and reliability
Advanced pin electronics are tuned to ensure optimum signal fidelity and superior programming yields for high-speed devices.
Proprietary labeling technology assures accurate, consistent printing and label placement.
Detailed statistics of each programming session lets you analyze programming trends and better manage quality.
